We are recovering from a massive snow storm here in the Northeast and I did not make it to the gym yesterday so having this at home workout at my disposal was good. Plus today I’m walking funny so that makes me feel accomplished, and strange at the same time. “It’s Leg Day, Bro” is a spicy workout that will make your thighs and butt super sore the next day (like mine), but it will feel great. This one will take you 15 minutes to complete. When you’re “on” for the 30 seconds, give it your ALL. Then you rest.

A few points of performance (POP’s) for this at home workout: 

High Knees:  Jog in place while focusing on getting your knees as high as you can.

Bodyweight Squats: Keep your weight in your heels and your chest up as you squat down. Get low, get low, get low.

Butt Kickers:  Jog in place while focusing on kicking your butt with your heels.

Lateral Lunges: Step out to the right and shift your body weight over your right leg, squatting to a 90 degree angle at the right knee. Try to sit down with your butt, keeping your back as upright as possible. Repeat on the left side, shifting your weight to over your left leg.

Squat Jumps: You’ll look like a frog squatting down and jumping up high. Hopefully your kids will be there to laugh at you join you!
