I’m not ashamed to admit that my balls are crowd-pleaser. One of my most-requested recipes, these paleo energy balls are a cinch to make and portable to take on-the-go for a pre/post workout snack or to be enjoyed anywhere. Take your balls with you wherever you go. Do not leave home without your balls. Okay, I’ll stop now.
A few notes:
- If the dates seem to be very dry or hard, soak them for a few minutes in some hot water and they will soften
- You can absolutely use peanut butter in lieu of almond or sunflower seed. Heck you can get all fancy and use cashew butter if you so choose.
- Worried you won’t consume that entire bag of flax meal you bought? You can sprinkle flax in pancakes, muffins, or add some to your protein shake.
